Amit has played various sports (Soccer, Cricket, Basketball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Tennis) at a competent level for over 30 years, playing many of them at a proficient level.
In late 2023 he discovered Pickleball by playing at a local receation centre in Beamsville, Ontario. He fell in love with the sport immediately and fully understands its appeal to all ages - 'because with Pickleball you always feel young, no matter what your age'.
As the region of Niagara, Ontario grows, the demand for indoor Pickleball facilities and competent coaching is critical. So Amit made the decision to help the community and successfully passed Pickleball Coaching Courses from Tennis Canada..
Amit would love to share his enthusiasm and Pickleball knowledge with all of you. He looks forward to coaching and developing your game together!

LYNNE ELLIOTT
(PICKLEBALL AMBASSADOR)
Lynne has been actively playing Pickleball for approximately nine years and immediately fell in love with the sport. Over this time she has become a key advocate in voicing and being a delegate for the public at town hall meetings . She highlighted the exponential growth of Pickleball and the urgent need for more indoor Pickleball facilities, both locally and in the Niagara Region of Ontario.
Lynne, was Amit's first major influence and guide when Amit first played Pickleball at the local recreation centre. Since then, Lynne has educated and brought to Amit's attention about the need for more Pickleball facilities. As a result, Amit and Lynne have become not just friends but also advocates of the sport..
This understanding has led to other local communities coming together on our social media Facebook Group called Pickleball Niagara Hub. Here's what Lynne has always said to everyone: "BUILD IT AND THEY WILL COME!" In recent years, new Community Recreation Centres were built in Smithville and Pelham, Ontario. Yet the demand and growth for Pickleball still goes beyond the capacity of these facilities. - We need more!
